Transitioning from Birth to Three – February 26, 2020 – New Haven

This is a training opportunity for parents and caregivers that are raising children who are deaf or hard of hearing. This training provides an opportunity to hear from a Birth to Three provider who will share insight on how to prepare yourself and your child for the transition from Birth to Three. You will also hear from parents who will share their stories and thoughts having experienced the process with their own child. LifeCourse Planning – February 19, 22, 26 and March 28, 2020 – Farmington 

LifeCourse Planning: How families can support seamless transitions from school to adulthood. Join the University of Connecticut Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities for an intensive learning opportunity for families of individuals with disabilities age 14 and older. This training will help parents and caregivers plan appropriate steps toward your child’s future. This is an intensive four session learning opportunity, plus one additional session for follow-up.
